George brings over 20 years of experience in the flooring industry, known for his dedication, precision, and unwavering attention to detail. For George, flooring isn’t just a trade — it’s a craft that requires patience, skill, and pride in every project.

Over the years, he has grown into a trusted leader who leads by example, sets high standards, and earns respect through integrity and reliability. He is always accessible, taking the time to listen to clients, colleagues, and team members, ensuring that every concern and vision is understood and valued.

Guided by his faith and grounded in his commitment to family, George approaches both his professional and personal life with purpose. He believes that strong values build strong teams, strong relationships, and lasting results. He also understands that the spaces he works on become the backdrop for life’s milestones and everyday moments — a responsibility he does not take lightly.

Detail-oriented and committed to excellence, George takes pride in delivering results that are built to last. His experience, leadership, and dedication continue to shape his work and the people around him.

GRANT BARNES

PRINCIPAL/SALES

Grant is co-owner and a sales lead at G2 Commercial Services with more than 25 years of focused experience in commercial flooring sales. He brings extensive knowledge of commercial flooring products and installation systems, helping clients budget and specify durable, cost-effective solutions for their projects. 

Originally from Kansas City, Grant moved to Denver in 2000 and is a proud University of Kansas Jayhawk, where he studied business, marketing, and psychology. An entrepreneur at heart and a proud father of two, he enjoys attending his children’s athletic events, travel, live music, cooking, playing golf, hiking, belly laughs, and long walks with his corgi-mix, Burt.

MATT STEWART

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

With over 25 years of experience, Matt is a finance leader with deep technical knowledge, strong process discipline, and a high sense of quality.

Highly skilled in enhancing and leading finance functions in multiple industries across three continents, his strengths include C-Suite Business Partnering, Financial Planning and Analysis, Mergers and Acquisitions, Investor Relations, Financial Control, Tax and Internal and External Audit.

A graduate of RMIT University earning a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) degree, he went on to become a Chartered Accountant member and currently holds a Fellowship with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

KAREN RAY

PROJECT MANAGER

With 16 years of experience in the commercial flooring industry, I have built my career on delivering high-quality projects through thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction. As a Project Manager at G2 Commercial Services, I enjoy coordinating every stage of a project, working closely with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure each job is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

I take pride in building lasting relationships and finding practical solutions that keep projects running smoothly from start to finish. My experience managing a wide range of commercial flooring projects has equipped me with the knowledge and confidence to oversee complex installations while maintaining a focus on quality, communication, and exceptional customer service.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, and taking advantage of Colorado’s lakes and waterways.

EMILY KNAUBERT

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Emily is a Project Coordinator at G2 Commercial Services, where she brings organization, clear communication, and attention to detail to every project. She enjoys collaborating with clients, vendors, and team members to create a seamless experience and help keep projects on schedule from start to finish.

Emily earned a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Project Management and is passionate about continuing to grow in her career. She is known for her curiosity, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn. She believes that effective communication, teamwork, and lasting relationships are the foundation of every successful project.

Originally from Brazil, Emily has called Colorado home for the past 10 years. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors with her husband.

ANDREW FERRIS

ESTIMATOR

With a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Colorado State University, Andrew brings a strong foundation in construction principles and a genuine passion for the estimating side of the industry. As an Estimator at G2 Commercial Services, he combines technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a thoughtful approach to developing accurate and competitive estimates that help set each project up for success.

Driven by a passion for puzzles, Andrew enjoys the challenge of analyzing project details, solving problems, and finding practical solutions. He understands that successful construction starts with careful planning and accurate estimating, and takes pride in playing a role in bringing projects together from the very beginning.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and, naturally, doing sick tricks on his skateboard. Whether he’s working through a complex estimate or pushing himself on a skateboard, Andrew brings curiosity, energy, and a commitment to doing things well to everything he takes on.
